Town manager George Burley has become the latest person to speak out after the Football League's decision to move the Worthington Cup semi-final second leg.

The Town manager said: "It would appear that the game is put back. It's disappointing, but we have to get on with it. It's particularly disappointing for our supporters who have bought tickets and are planning to go next week."

Too right.

Despite the sub-polar weather Ipswich is currently enjoying tonight's reserve game with chelsea is on. Groundsman Alan Ferguson has his big tent out and hot air is being blown on to the pitch to keep the surface playable.

Nothing yet on Hassan Kachloul's talks with Southampton. The Moroccan is not expected to agree terms with his current club and Town are one of a number of teams looking to get him on board.

Town tabled an offer for the 27-year-old last week and are awaiting developments.
