It is being reported that Town will not be looking to take Mark Burchill on permanently when his loan deal is up at the end of the season. The Scot has rarely featured since Marcus Stewart returned from his three match suspension after his red card against Leeds. |

Appropriately enough two goals at the North Stand end saw Town to victory and condemned Manchester City to Division One. Exactly a year ago today Town were condemning Walsall to the Second Division while City beat Blackburn Rovers to make Town go through the anguish of the play-offs once more as they entered the Premier League. |

Marcus Stewart will hope he can improve what has been a bad weekend by getting himself fit enough for Town’s starting line-up this evening. Stewart not only saw Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink score two goals to go ahead of him in the Premiership goal charts, but old club Huddersfield joined his other former team Bristol Rovers in being relegated. |
