Former Blue Nathan Ellington is training with League One Crewe Alexandra having had his contract with Town settled by mutual consent at the end of last month. The former Wigan, West Brom and Watford man made only three starts – just one in the league – and 16 sub appearances during 18 months at Portman Road.

Striker Nathan Ellington has revealed that he has left Town by mutual consent. The 31-year-old, who recently spent time on loan at Scunthorpe, was contracted to the Blues until the summer.
