Manager Mick McCarthy has confirmed that, as reported earlier, Ronan Murray, Joe Whight and Cormac Burke will not be offered new terms by the Blues at the end of the season. The Town boss has also revealed that Icelandic U19 international Gunnar Thorsteinsson and defender Jack Ainsley, who is currently on loan at Chelmsford, will also be released.

Town’s U21s came from behind to beat Millwall 2-1 at Portman Road this evening. The visitors went ahead in the third minute via Charlie Penny but Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and schoolboy Matthew Clarke netted a goal in either half to give the Blues a deserved victory.
