I have to say it was utter garbage today, apart from Berra, who was superb as usual and loach who was solid, the rest were poor.Cresswell has been terrible for the last month in my opinion and has never been as good as he thinks and the midfield is too sidewards and not enough forwards.Standing in the cold with the price of tickets and all else you might buy (especially if you have kids) you can see why we have a missing 10,000

A nothing game, apart from Loach three good saves, the Blackpool keeper won't even need to take a shower or his kit washed. A very low key, gutless performance from us today against a less than average Blackpool. We must do better!

It was a 'stalemate' as journalists would say. Town were lacking in passing, and a limiting amount of shots made kept fans groaning throughout the match.

Fans in front of me were regularly playing games on their phone because they lost interest in the match.

Stand-in keeper Loach did very well in his first start since August, including several good saves to keep Blackpool's strikers out.

Cresswell also recorded one of his worst performances since joining the club, and he was seen struggling to control the ball from short/long range passes at times.

Town must do better to boost their attendances.

I could write a long report, but there is little point.

Yes the conditions were windy. But it was appalling theatre yet again.

Don't whine about falling attendances when that is the garbage on show.

Berra, murphy and loach can potentially take some credit. Hyam was bright before going off. But a team with green, skuse, hyam/tabb is too defensive - mick sighted fear of Blackpool as the reason post match, Jesus wept.

What is sickening is that for 5 mins at the end of the game we showed the endeavour and quality needed. But why was it not seen for 88mins. Terrible.

When are we going to get energy back? When when when?

And of course why play a not fully fit SEB, when we have a fit Taylor who has proved himself in 3 or 4 games. Nouble over Taylor on the bench - you're having a laugh.

Hunt is being exposed as is tabb. Taylor better than the former.

Still great we're solid - but that is shocking football.

I said before the game that I would be extremely disappointed if we did not beat Blackpool, it was there for the taking, but yet again we did not look like a team at all, there was no fight, we did not attack hardly at all apart from the very beginning and just before the end, I am absolutely sick of watching this type of football, the side passes and back passes from the defenders, midfield and even the forwards, is irritating to watch, where is the fighting spirit in this team, have they all forgotten how to pass the ball on the grass now, I used to look forward to going to all the home matches but I am losing faith rapidly, I thought Terry Connor would have had them playing better than that, very poor indeed, no wonder the Stadium is seldom more than half filled.

Needed a bit of cooling off time before posting my comments. A bore draw. Ultimately the two teams cancelled each other out and it became a game where both sides were more scared to lose than push for a win. Blackpool are an attacking team with a vulnerable defence and Ipswich a defensive team with the attacking players marked out of the game. Hunt did a lot of directionless running, Hyam seemed to come back from injury a game too soon, SEB got some game time but looked unfit, Taylor was mysteriously dropped from the bench, Tabb was given a more defensive role but was widely criticised - he also failed to get a shot on target when given a golden chance.

In the end there are only 10 points between the teams and Blackpool are starting to get things together after a torrid period. The game will be forgotten by both sides very quickly. Town are now almost mathematically safe from relegation (88% safe, one more point will be 100% safe). Going back to September that would be the first aim of the season achieved and doing so in February is a success.

Amazing, played great for10 minutes then Hyam went off injured. After that nothing. Didn't realize what a remarkable influence he has.

This was one of Town’s poorest performances. Town lined up with a 4 4 2 formation with new loan signing Paul Green filling the wide right position with Skuse, Hyam and Hunt making up the midfield quartet. Unfortunately for Hyam this was going to be a short lived return as he was forced off after 10 minutes with a Hamstring injury which disrupted the midfield.

Again Town’s passing in midfield constantly let them down, very little flow and cohesion allowed Blackpool to enjoy possession with ease. Green unfairly spent most of his time in the centre of the field leaving Chambers exposed and struggled to provide crosses for the front two.

Murphy had a performance to forget as he failed to create enough from the left and all too easily robbed of possession leaving McGoldrick to search ever deeper to carve out a defence splitting ball, it never materialized. Town’s top goal scorer came within inches of increasing his tally with a headed cross in the first half, this being Town’s best chance all afternoon.

Blackpool went into this fixture on the back of a hard earned and late solitary point at the City ground. The Tangerines now under the stewardship of Barry Ferguson who has injected a lot of new faces into the club recently would have been asking a lot of his new team to gel immediately. Faris Haroun, a one time target for the blues before joining Middlesbrough looked the stand out menace who came close to nicking all 3 points late on after a goal area scramble, the impressive Loach keeping him at bay and earning Town’s 8th clean sheet.

The season is now in danger of fizzling out after the news that McGoldrick has been ruled out for 10 weeks with a knee injury. The better news is that Ebanks Blake returned to the 18 who has the prowess to shoot Town into a play off position. It looks like Mick need a clear out of some midfield personnel and will need funds to add to the squad if Town are going to be consider a promotion contender next season.
