That was a very physical game today. Disappointing to concede but at least the lads kept going. We did not deserve to lose today but did not do enough to justify a win either. 2 average championship teams slugging it out. For me our main problem is our strikers are just are not good enough. We miss Murphy and it's a pity we have so far failed to replace him. Hopefully that will be rectified in the summer. On the plus side I thought young Dominic looked half decent when he came on, certainly held the ball up pretty well. Pity he missed the last 6 weeks with that broken toe.

Yes, an awful lot of venom on here on a day when MM tried to play an attacking formation. We were undone by a couple of silly defensive errors. Apart from the 2 goals conceded I thought Webster looked really good today. Ken lock did ok as a stand in left back. Apart from one mazy run I thought Bish was very quiet and Grant Ward did not do to much. Was not surprised to see them subbed. My only complaint was that Best was not in from the start. Mum might have wanted to give him a rest as we have been relying on him a lot and I guess he is still playing catch up, or he might be carrying a knock. Who knows but if he was fit I think we missed him. Dids had some nice touches but nobody up front to knock the ball too.

Also, no such thing as an easy game in the Championship. I remember us under Burley losing 1-0 at home to a bottom of the table Crewe who were anchored at the bottom of the table. It's football, it happens, get over it. At least the guys kept going and got a point and we moved UP the table. COYB

Cracking game played in atrocious conditions. Credit to both teams. Dissapointed to have drawn having been in front twice but hey, that's football. Thought we played some really good stuff at times. Thought Murphy was great from the off but faded in the second half. I expected him to be subbed after his heroic efforts/ travelling for Ireland. I expect Bru had a knock otherwise unsure why he was subbed. We miss him when he is not in the team. Great game for the spectators. On wards and upwards. COYB

Really great entertainment today. Whoever writes the scripts needs to take more account of the workload at Ipswich A&E, especially as heart patients usually end up at Norwich hospital.

Great game today. Very exciting for all the fans to watch. We should have won, we had the chances, especially Murph.

Murphy was excellent today winning nearly everything in the air despite being marked by 2 men all the time. Sears looked good again but never looked like scoring. Brentford were physical but we gave as good as we got.

Skye's was really up for it in the middle of the park and Tabb was a giant winning more headers than he was entitled to. Tackling like a tiger and playing some great balls forward. Parr was also excellent.

As usual the defence was outstanding dealing with a fast and physical attack. Smith, so often the target of stupid comments on here, was absolutely superb (as he usually is). Berra was his usual immaculate self and Mings got better and better as the game went on.

A real battling display by town who should have won 3-1 but Brentford fought really hard to get their point. All is not lost. We are quite capable of beating anyone in this league including all those table top games now coming up.

As MM said it will go right to the wire. How lucky are we to be following a team that still involved at the right end of the table. A tribute to MM and the players and staff.

I have to agree with Mick. When I look back on the match it was actually their keeper who had the most to do with Freddie Sears having 3 half decent chances. The first goal was a superb strike from a cross that deflected off the back of Berra's foot and then managed to find its way through Chambers legs. Poor Bart had no chance. Then the 2nd goal was a bit unfortunate.

Apart from that and Freddie's 3 efforts, 2 really good saves from Ruddy, there was little between the teams. Is it 13 games to go and everything still to play for. Like Mick I think it will go right to the wire before we know whether it's play offs, automatic or not quite our year.

Wherever we end up it will be the best season we have had for years. Those chumps calling for Mick to be sacked need to get a reality check. The guy is doing a great job and MM must be chuffed to bits.

Ps thought Mings looked great today and Sears continues to impress and yes we do miss Dids and Bish but when MM says they are injured I actually believe him. If they are injured they can't play, end of.

Cracking game. We outfought them from the start. Scott Parker bossed the midfield but Hyam and ask use were good today. Hyam in particular really got stuck in. He did well for the 1st goal and Murphy finished well and had a good assist with the 2nd. I thought Tabb worked really hard and no doubt proved a lot of moaners wrong. Thought Elliot disappeared in the second half. The defence was rock solid as usual and Mings did great. He looked injured near the end just before they scored but he might have just been shattered. Great 3 points. I expected 1 point maximum today so really pleased.
