Sunderland do their own streaming service ingeniously called SAFsee. I believe they use the follow feed for away matches, but home matches they have multiple cameras now, it’s quite good.
Hosted by the Mackem equivalent of Rob Chandler and ex town Danny Collins.
Not the worst suggestion I’ve seen, however I think the problem we’ve had with the wingbacks before is teams will play high wingers and have 2vs 1 down the flanks as well as pinning the wingbacks to nullify any threat we have from outwide, so personally I’m not a massive fan of it (with the players we have especially.) although one of the better matches last season was where chambers and woolfenden were bombing on from CB in a back 5 (vs Accrington I think).
There’s a jokey interview on the twitter page which norwood asks a question to judge, so he’s definitely at the training ground at least. Does seem a bit odd though, as seemed to be getting a (as PL would say) helluva lot of attention last season.
Due to my mates sister dropping out of coming tomorrow we have a U18s ticket going £8 let me know if anyone wants it can meet outside the ground or in the pub.
Can remember Charlie Austin a few years back. Had to pick between us and Burnley (plus maybe another team, can’t remember) he was in the building and we didn’t sign him. Nowhere near this level of onward chains etc though
Someone’s actually made a thread about it I just saw.
