Thread | What has Freddie done that is so wrong Phil?

Phil, have you heard anything about Freddie sears and what he has supposed to have done wrong?
Can’t get in the match day squad, can’t get a game in the under 23’s either! Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think he Is the answer in the long term but surely he is worth a place or even a chance at the moment with us not scoring at a decent rate.
From what we have heard in the past he isn’t a person to rock the boat either, just seems so strange. |

Thread | Nash to be promoted to head coach with director of football

Heard from a former player from the 90’s promotion team who is still local that The top brass at the club have really been impressed by Gerard Nash and how the 23’s play and are going to promote him to be 1st team head coach but with a older head with him to guide him with transfers/scouting. They are hoping that his connections with the younger players coming through will make their transistion a lot easier into the seniors plus give the fans a lift as they will see promotion from within. |

If they get rid of Farke, then the only managers that will put up with Webber pulling the strings is an inexperienced person in the Farke mould, if they want someone like Pulis then they have to get rid of Webber which means more money spent, which they can’t afford if they want a decent manager.
Oh well, sh!t happens. Ha ha ha ha ha |

I’m not a huge fan of video help for refs, but surely in the Didzy incident last night any help that could have been provided wouldn’t have impacted on the game? While he was getting treatment for nuts the ref could have wandered over to the fourth official, checked out the video footage and sent Loovens off before they removed the 1st testicle from didzy’s throat. No stoppage than what would have occurred anyway and the right punishment given.
Like I say, I don’t want the game to become stop start, and also ref mistakes gives football a bit of heart and soul but in instances like this where a ref can make a judgement on dangerous play I think it is needed. [Post edited 23 Nov 2017 19:13]

Thread | could Mick moving upstairs be a good option?

Thoughts after last nights terrific result for the ressies, could the way forward for ITFC is Mick moving upstairs to oversee a Nash/TC combination on the coaching and match days?
Mick has the contacts in the game in regards to picking up good value purchases/loans which to be fair and realistic is the shop window will be looking in again. Been hearing really good things about Nash, seems to like to play a better style than Mick and with TC beside him will give the experience needed.
