How are Hurst's major signings still at the club?
at 07:00 9 Dec 2021

Nolan, Jackson, Nsiala, Donacien remain despite the 'Demolition Man' period.

Yet they were the bedrock of Hurst's awful tenure.

Can't see Morris or Folami getting much of a look in when fit.

Easy or hard to win an England cap these days?

Looking at this list, there's a few good players, but no-one outstanding.

Steve Bruce never played for England yet kept winning the Premier League - that situation will surely never happen again.

Anyone can get a game for them these days. There must be some others who were horrendously bad.

Can't see them being relegated personally. But there are similarities.

Went to watch Al Jazira v Al Ahli in Abu Dhabi last night
at 06:01 10 Jan 2017

Crowd of about 4,000 in a stadium that holds 40,000 watching players whp are paid exorbitant wages.

Fair to say it was rather soulless. In fact I've seen more effort at the likes of Stanway Rovers and Heybridge Swifts and this was a cup semi final.
