Has anyone had any issues watching the away games from a different country the last couple of games?

Woolfy and Burgess, absolutely stupendous tonight, some fantastic clearances, great interceptions, last second tackles, different class.

Why did we stop playing the ball to Edwards after the equaliser?
at 20:15 4 Feb 2023

He had the full back on strings, should have kept going to him but like last year we went to the stagnant right hand side of the pitch 80% of the time.

Chaplin/Burns partnership- too friendly?
at 09:57 11 Dec 2022

I’m going to start by saying that both players had their best game in a while. Burns wasn’t afraid to take on his man yesterday when in recent weeks, he has been cutting back and using the Centre Mid to whip the ball in most of the time. The one time he did that today, it led to the first goal. Hopefully going forward he will use that as a less common option so the opposition can not predict the tactic.

Chaplin was back to his best but this time it was from a different position, playing as the left 10 instead of the right 10. It opened up more space for him and he was also more adventurous with making late runs into the box.

My point is that it seems Burns and Chaplin have been below par when both playing on the right side of the pitch, they seem to be great friends off the pitch, could that have an effect on them not demanding more from each other or playing together had become stale and predictable? Aluko being fit gave McKenna a chance to freshen the 10s up which saw Chaplin as MOTM.

So I went to the game at Wembley

This will be one of those days where you remember where you were! Fantastic performance, they kept going even after the blip of the equaliser, didn’t go the same way as the mens final fortunately!

Bloody typical, we played superbly that 2nd half but you can’t give corners that easily in the last minute

I hear we get another £4 million from Bournemouth now, should be enough for Bonne, Celina and Walton permanent transfers

Style of play and quality of teams
at 07:47 20 Oct 2021

In the season so far, it appears that Cook has clearly had a solid Plan A. The majority of goals have come from the full backs and wingers getting crosses in to our attacking players.

The way we are set up is like a solid championship team which is why this season I think we may struggle against the smaller clubs at the bottom who play more direct football and will try to bully us. Two games which come to mind are the Cheltenham game where they used the monster long throw and also the collapse against Cambridge too when we invited long balls into us.

On the other hand, the teams at the top will look to play football for the majority of the game. This is where I believe we will shine as we have better footballers than the teams right at the top. As we have now been playing this style for 3 months now, I believe that we will start to see Town dominating the next few games against the top teams.

What do we think the issue is here? Is he flustered by the big crowds? If he was league 2’s keeper of the season based on his start, it says a lot about the standard in that league

We have missed having wingers with pace and direct running, haven’t had a player like Burns in years! Exciting times for the club, him in front of KVY could be dangerous

Lambert had to go
at 15:08 20 Mar 2021

But I think we can safely say these players have let the club down this season. No fight, mentally weak, lethargic, so many adjectives I could use to describe how poor they have been. There are around 4 who have had decent seasons but the rest should be ashamed of what they have achieved this season.

Jackson on the wing
at 10:16 10 Jan 2021

Probably one of the worst decisions made this season by Lambert and that is saying something. In the 90th minute, he was on the wing when he should have been in the box. Completely outplayed by Thompson too, if you’re not normally a winger, a full back will know everything you will try to do.

It’s time for change at this club, from the manager to the sports science staff. Some of the players need to look in the mirror too, Alan Judge and Freddie Sears being the two main culprits.
