I think TWTD is broken, I have just looked through the first 2 pages and I can’t find a single moan. Phil, can you check the servers please?
I will now do my bit to fix that by getting a minor gripe off my chest:
Why is it that pretty much every single game when I look at my watch at kick off it is invariably 15:03/04 or 19:48/49??! Is it really that hard to get a game to kick off on time? It might sound like an insignificant issue, but for those of us who get the train it can be the difference between making your train or waiting an hour for the next one. I also timed Half Time tonight and it came in at just shy of 19 minutes. I was fuming when I had to leave 3 mins before the end tonight to make my train home, purely because both halves kicked off about 3/4 minutes after they should have. There was even one game earlier (I forget which) that kicked off at 15:06!!
Christ I really do need to get a life don’t I …
My tickets are still in my drawer at home. Anybody know the protocol in this situation? Presume ITFC ticket office won’t pick up the phone tomorrow? Phone Plymouth? Help!!
The Mrs has said I can only go to Millwall away on Valentines Day if I bring her along and make a day of it in London with her. Anybody got a spare membership with a decent amount of points I could use to get her a ticket?? There’s a pint and an away point in it for you..
The blind for the window overlooking the pitch is firmly shut, and there is a member of staff stood there to stop anyone peeking through. Something is brewing..
Happened to be the area for work so decided to pop by. Plenty of ITFC links, particularly in the orient side. Most obvious being El Miz on loan (skippering them as well). Aaron Drinan also starting while Pigott is on the bench. Will be interesting to see how they all get on. Decided to go in with the orient fans to show my support for Idris!
I was watching some French second division highlights earlier because I’m a sad football nerd, and look what I spotted in the background at 0.50 in this video.. anybody take any credit or know anything about the ITFC presence? We truly are massive..
Given the tv crews etc would already be there and ready to go? The statement says it was postponed on grounds of ‘supporter safety’. Surely if there are no supporters, the game could go ahead? Not ideal for those who travelled I realise, but would save on the fixture congestion later in the season and mean the teams journey etc wasn’t wasted. Just a thought..
Does anyone else think Ashton might be quietly regretting publicly stating that we can expect 2/3 more signings before the end of the window? Feels like it put unnecessary pressure on the situation and leaves him in a bit of a tight spot if things do go to plan and that doesn’t happen…
Also before anyone gets their knickers in a twist that wasn’t a moan!! I actually think that our squad is absolutely fine as it is, though could do with adding some strength in depth in some areas, whether that’s in the next week or in Jan.
Does anyone else feel like they may have allocated a few too many for the ‘safe seating’ section for the QPR game? Already not all that many non restricted view regular seats left, whilst still a huge number of ‘safe seating’ seats available. I feel like they may have slightly overestimated demand for them in general, as they always seem to be the last tickets left.
