Jackson may be a bit raw but he is getting better and better in my mind. £1,600000 well spent in my opinion and so far challenging Downes and Woolfenden as player of the season. He never stops running ,harries the keeper making him kick more quickly and now has 11 goals.Pace is such an important attribute in a player. If we don't go up this season we will find it difficult to hold on to him. |

Saxonblue... You obviously weren't at the game as Nsiala was very good before he was substituted. The ref set the tone when he booked Harrison right at the start and then got his yellow card out whenever anybody was tackled and went to ground. INsiala has had a slow start (mainly due to injury) and hasn't been at his best but he was looking good on Saturday and I'm certain will play a very important part in our promotion this season. |

What a load of misery guts on this site. We are going to get automatic promotion this season...and a major reason is that we have a large squad and a sensible manager who will get us through the winter slog because he won't be over playing our players. We have 3 matches in 8 days and I would like to see us getting 6 points from our next two league matches. If you think the side won't be trying tonight you need your head examining. Players will always try and play their best and the fringe players we will be playing tonight will do their best to impress PL and try and force their way into his thinking for the league side. Thank god he is the manager and not you lot.` |

Well said ITFCsince73. We'll need all these players before our league season is over and they need game time. We should be proud of fielding a completely different side and still in the cup. It would be lovely to have a cup run but even better to have got automatic promotion by mid April!
How on earth people can moan at PL with our results so far this season beats me but I suppose I should be used to the fact that 50% of the moaners rarely attend matches.Also one should point out that tickets for this match cost £10 which is about a third of the normal price. |

Nsiala wasn't fit at the beginning of the season but is now. Was probably the best centre back in LG 1 when we bought him. I'd like to keep Wilson but won't be surprised if he goes as we have a big squad for this league. |

Jackson played pretty well in my opinion and his pace will frighten a lot of Lg 1 defenders.If he can score 10 -15 goals and Norwood 15 -20 we'll have a very good season. The defence played well enough - Burton never really tested Holy - the nearest Burton got to scoring was when Holy dilly dallied on clearing the goal and it bounced of a Burton player trying to close him down and missed going in the goal by about a yard. Woolfenden had a very good game and the rest of the defence were ok. |

I bet there isn't another club in the football league that will have a full fit squad on day 1 of the season.We are no more unlucky or lucky than any other club.There will be periods of the season when we have most of our squad fit and periods when we don't...and every other club will be in the same position.
What we do have is a bigger squad than most of the other sides in League 1 so lets appreciate that fact and for Ff...s sake stop moaning . The real season hasn't even started yet. I'm beginning to think Phil that you should add a button so that bwe can filtewr out all those posters (I was going to say fans) who literally spend all their time bloody moaning. |

Why the hell can't you so called fans stop moaning and wait for the season to start. At the beginning of last season the bookies made us second favourites to be relegated. I lost £100 because I thought they were very wrong. They were right and I lost my money. Bookmakers rarely get it wrong...they make their money by being right more often than being wrong. This year they are making us second favourites to WIN the league and very short to be promoted. I would suggest that all you moaners try a d make some money by taking on the bookies and backing us not to go up or laying us on Betfair! |

I see nothing in what he said on Radio Suffolk as saying he wants or is planning to leave.The season and results haven't been great so far since he has been here but the football has been a lot better and most of the fans would love him to be here next season. All he is saying is that there is never security for football managers and if there was pressure (from fans for instance) for there to be a change it might be that ME would bow to it but personally I'm confident that ME wants him here next season and I think he will be. I do think though that he would want most of our best young players to still be here. |

Edwards lacks pace? What a load of b*ll*cks MickMillsTash.. He is certainly raw but has proved on more than one occasion that he is quicker than the average defender. I could see him him feeding off Dozzell through balls rather than the "balls to feet" hold up play that we have been asking him to play so far. I think Nsiala does have the occasional mistake in him but is potentially one of the best CBs we have had for a long time. He wins nearly everything in the air, is brave and pretty quick and will be a big asset in Lg 1. |

Deep Blue Something: "Lambert has no track record of consequence..." I seem to remember he was managing Colchester in League 1 when they thrashed Norwich (also in League1)7-1. Within a couple of weeks he was managing Norwich and got them a double promotion to the Premier League, or have I got that wrong. |

Algarve fan: a team full of teenagers isn't going to get us promoted from League 1 (if we go down). I agree we don't want to lose any of our talented younger players but we will need older and more experienced ones to make up the bulk of the team. The way pl is doing it at the moment seems the correct way to go about it,namely playing a outlets of the younger players in every game, but ringing the changes so that they don't burn out. |
