How about Gerken as a cheap goalkeeping option to compete with Loach for the number one spot? Never quite sure why he was overlooked by Bristol in favour of Heaton. Always looked a very decent keeper when I've seen him play.
What is everyone's opinion on this? 6 goals and only 8 assists is hardly prolific. Worthy winner or has his big money move influenced it? Haven't really heard much of him since he joined Man United and certainly had a quiet game against us.
Only played 3 games for Cardiff before being ruled out for the season through injury. Perhaps worth a cheeky bid in the summer? I'm sure Cardiff will be in the market for a big name striker to compliment Gestede, Bellamy and Campbell. Will garrente goals next season.

With the response of the footballer being along the lines of 'yeah, not being able to get a championship contract neat season is worrying'. Don't get me wrong anyone being out of a job isn't a nice place to be but just found it a little insensitive comparing it to those people who are really struggling right now.
