Milne: Owner Evans Very Aware of "Rift"
at 14:26:04

Northstandveteran - I am part of your first point in regards to wanting to keep my seat. Me and my dad have said many times if we didn't have good seats we'd have given them up ages ago and we are just about struggling to go for the past year or two. Most of my teen life i had been watching McCarthy football and it's honestly been the dullest period I've ever watched. The sooner he's gone the better, he's driving away so many fans and it's hard to watch!

Millwall 3-4 Ipswich Town - Match Report

I will openly admit I've wanted Mick out for a while but was prepared once we knew he was staying to give him another chance. And boy has he started well! Obviously there's a concern with defending so we will probably need some cover there before Saturday. Can't help but feel upbeat right now and that hasn't been the case for a while now, got to stay grounded though and not to lose faith after a defeat because that'll come eventually. But for this week we can enjoy this and crack on again Saturday. One last thing, you might wanna keep up naaarwich!

Superb signing. Always noticed him demanding the ball from the defence last season, something we lack heavily. Welcome back Emyr!

Nottingham Forest 3-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report

Careful for what you wish for Town fans! Lowest finish in 50 something years?! The state of this club is so sad. The commentators today making mick out to be some kind of magician, have they been watching us all season? If Evans is prepared to put his hand in his pocket, the money should go nowhere near to McCarthy. I do NOT want to watch his way of football and I do NOT want to hear him for another season slagging off supporters. Embarrassing, shameful display yet again and there's one man to blame, McCarthy. Cancelled my season ticket, good riddance McCarthy and Evans I hope you're satisfied with yourselves.

I genuinely can't believe how many fans I've read that are happy to allow this man to remain in charge next season along with the worst owner to date, Sheepshanks may have not had the most money but he loved the club. I just listened to McCarthy once again bigging up Douglas, why? To continue to wind up fans, he couldn't care less about us or the club he only cares about himself and the plaudits he receives. We were told not to protest until we're safe so what's the excuse now? Have fans forgiven him after the Newcastle result?! I personally was against making wholesale changes this weekend as it was a good time to try and build some momentum but 9 changes?! That's just asking to be beaten. I'm staying well away from this club until changes are made.

McCarthy Frustrated By Failure to Take Chances
at 18:23:48

Oh just do one mick. I'm 20 years of age and I've had to spend the last few years of my teenage life watching your rubbish! You've brainwashed me into thinking this is our way of playing and it's beyond shocking to watch. Just looking at the stats and it could have quite easily been a thrashing like the scum did today. I'm still renewing hoping for a change of management, I just want to see the old Ipswich I got a glimpse of watching. I hope you go home have that beer and phone up Evans saying you're resigning.

Ipswich Town 0-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers - Match Report
at 23:06:43

I haven't commented on here for a while because I felt as if I was repeating myself every week. But after the so called 'wonderful' month of February where we were unbeaten yet only won one of the games, we've gone right back to the wonderful two holding midfielders policy!

How many times are fans going to be fooled by the manager and owner? The manager cannot stay on but there also has to be a change of approach from the owner. This so called plan clearly is a load of rubbish, as is the football. What left me speechless tonight is hearing McCarthy saying Wolves were a good side! Have a laugh, they were bloody dreadful and if we had a half decent manager in charge who'd have realised that we may have come out of that game with a much better outcome.

Anyway, I'm actually glad we don't have a home match until the new month. Credit to those who go away, I used to be that mad but not anymore. MICK OUT!

McCarthy: Preston Don't Want to Sell Hugill
at 19:04:56

Can't say I'm surprised. The club wouldn't bring in someone when we had a chance of promotion so why would they now when the club is going nowhere?! Same old lies from a club with zero ambition and going nowhere but backwards. It's a complete farce and there's still fans who remain happy with the current state we are in. We still have NOT replaced Daryl Murphy and that is completely unacceptable.

I'm sorry but was that some kind of sick joke I saw that Douglas came on at HT for a young promising Dozzell? Get this awful man out of our club, he should not be the master of his destiny and Evans needs to grow some balls and do the right thing for the club. I can't stand the man and I'm all for a protest next match if that's what is planned, enough is enough!

Can anybody tell me how many forward passes were made that actually went to one of our players?! Honestly, investment will do nothing until this manager has gone because who actually coaches these players? Evans? No wonder he doesn't want to get his wallet out but at the same time he's happy to remain in the championship! Utterly hopeless display, I have never been so embarrassed watching us. How McCarthy is still in the job, heavens knows but this becoming a big joke. We the fans have to act NOW and put an end to this woeful era.

Ipswich Town 0-2 Fulham - Match Report
at 02:03:30

I stayed away today, I just didn't feel like spending my Boxing Day at PR and it sounded like I made the right decision. The amount of times I heard 'that's a let off for town' the score line could've AND should've been about 6 or 7. Players don't care, Sears being played out wide and has lost interest, wouldn't surprise me if Berra is more looking forward to leaving come the end of the season, Chambers the worst RB in the league, Webster potentially off, Knudsen woeful, Douglas and Skuse I give up talking about, and best just really isn't the best is he.

Nobody is enjoying this anymore, since Christmas last year. Other clubs by now would have given them the bullet and I'd rather take a risk than head into league 1 anyway because that's where we are heading with this idiot in charge. Some say it's more down to Evans but Mick signed the Douglas, the Skuse, the best (he isn't, he's awful just like my puns) I just cannot be bothered to go watch Town anymore and I have never had that feeling EVER.

Find it crazy how we are even thinking this could happen, we only bought him in the summer!! We will carry on hovering in the championship or nearer to relegation if we continue to sell the better players of our squad.

So mick now has a worse record than Keane did in his last 22 matches. But I guess that stat is meaningless considering super mick brought us up the league slightly (we wasn't that far adrift from the teams above) 4 years ago and snuck us into the play offs 2 years ago! I'm past caring now which I never thought would happen supporting ipswich but the man is killing our club and has to go.

Bishop Out With Ankle Injury as Illness Hits McCarthy and Squad
at 14:03:28

Bishop seems to pick up too many injuries despite not playing many games. Let's hope Williams gets a bit of game time now with his loan looking a fairly pointless one. I just cannot understand how Douglas gets ahead of a player who featured so well for Wales, it's a sad state when the two loanees are your best players.

Where are we going? What is our plan? The fans need answers because you are losing more each week. What has happened to Dozzell? I thought Benyu was close to being in the first team this season? It's so awfully dull being an Ipswich fan right now. A win every now and again keeps micks job which is frustrating as we go and lose the next game and we are back to square 1 again. Time for protests? I'm personally going to start staying away because these people running our club are ruining it.

Ipswich Town 0-2 Nottingham Forest - Match Report
at 20:23:38

I just cannot understand how this man is still our manager. There was absolutely no reason to get excited after winning one game but I actually went to the match looking forward to it, then I realised who our manager was. The defence looked worse than it ever has been, there was no intent or anybody to step up to the plate and go FORWARD with the ball. Clueless.

I honestly feel so sorry for sears, he ends up getting put at right wing back because mick takes our best player in Emmanuel off! I'm not one to ever look at which players the manager has lost, but it really does look like he's lost Sears. He's ruined him, and he's ruining our club.

McCarthy Reaches Four-Year Milestone
at 12:59:59

Stabilised us well, got us into the top 6 which was the best chance he was ever going to get at getting us promoted. Now most teams have found him and the players out and we're heading backwards rather than forwards. Most managers reigns would have been cut at this point but our owner continues to show no ambition. Who would I like in? A young and upcoming manager or one of our own would be wonderful, but one things for sure is that we need fresh ideas and quickly. Mick McCarthy isn't out of nowhere going to start getting our players to play it around (like most teams do when they come to PR) and the players he currently has for selection do not suit his style and therefore his work horses will soon enter the lineup again. I would not be surprised if we were to see the return of Skuglas this weekend where we go and try knicking that wonderful point!
