| Forum Thread | One of the weirder comments from last night at 09:40 17 Feb 2021
When asked about getting the best out of current squad: "Whether the quality is there, nobody knows.' Huh?? Nobody is able to evaluate the quality of the players? |

0 starts and 3 sub appearances between them. Really hope that improves, it will look very silly if not. |
| Forum Thread | Left midfield at 16:39 1 Oct 2018
So far we've tried Ward, Sears, Graham, Edun, Harrison and Rowe and Roberts from the bench. Obviously we have seen more of some than others but at the moment there seems to be no real stand out. I was hoping Ward would kick on after a really good second half against Brentford but he hasn't matched that level in the following two games. Do we think anyone can nail it down? |
| Forum Thread | The problem is not 1 up top at 22:02 21 Aug 2018
Hardly anyone plays 2 up top these days because you have to sacrifice an extra body in midfield. The issue is that we're still too direct. We don't hold on to the ball for long enough and build up attacks with any patience to enable enough players from midfield to move in to advanced positions. You'd still have the same issue with another striker on the pitch IMO. |
| Forum Thread | Much less concerned about Waghorn leaving after seeing Harrison last night at 11:37 25 Jul 2018
Don't want to get too carried away as it was only MK dons but he looked really sharp. Can play with his back to goal and run in behind. Had a good effort from outside the box that was well saved. Also looks able to compete physically/in the air. Good effort considering he'd only been here a day. I'd be happy with him and Garner sharing the number 9 role but we need to get a number 10 in now. Quite a few occasions in the first half where we recycled possession well in the final third but there was no one looking for the ball in between the lines centrally. |
| Forum Thread | Evans mentioning Huddersfield as an example at 14:07 25 Apr 2018
So Huddersfield managed to get promoted without parachute payments or big investment. He also mentions Millwall being in the play-offs, which is already out of date after Derby won last night. As well as Preston and Brentford, so 3 teams which realistically aren't going to get promoted this season. Can anyone think of other examples like Huddersfield over the last 5/6 years? Not knocking the principles of the plan but the chances of it achieving promotion seem so slim. |
| Forum Thread | I was looking forward to Saturday at 12:13 14 Mar 2018
Going with a group of 12, most of which have never been before, as we happened to be there for a night out anyway. What's the atmosphere going to be like now? |
