Training ground observations

Just drove past training ground on the way home and 2 observations:
1) Gate is shut with a steward opening and then closing as a car arrives/exits. I drive past here reasonably often and not seen that before unless there is an U23s game on.
2)The car ahead of me was a gold Mercedes with the number plate DIW 867. Turned into the training ground. Any ideas ??? Only name that sprung to mind with all the threads on here today is Dean Windass (with Josh Windass being his son) but cannot find anywhere if he has a middle name or if he's his sons agent (or similar)

Has joined Peterborough from West Ham after playing just 4 games for Blackburn whilst on loan. Appears a good call not to have taken him on loan at the start of the season
