Thread | Never thought I would be so excited about relegation

Can’t wait to visit a host of new grounds next season , get rid of the loan player culture once and for all and build a winning mentality based around our young players and permanent players.
I was totally against Mick leaving and felt it was a mistake , it was and we have got our just deserts , now it’s time to rebuild and get the club back on track |

Had we played like that all season we wouldn’t be going down , our defence is poor and we need more up top but our build up play was good and we tried hard today . Yes we will go down but the passion we have shown makes me think next season might be fun in league 1. |

We are down for sure after today so why change the habit of a lifetime and spend money ?
The money should have been spent under McCarthy who with proper backing may have got us up , the fans who hounded McCarthy out last season should also shoulder some of this blame , we are rotten to the core as a club and we have now got what we fully deserve

Are fans not calling for his head on match day like they usually do when they want a manager out ? Is this board reflective off the supporter base as a whole or are the vocal ones just on here? I would be disappointed if hurst is still here on Saturday , he is woefully out of his league in the championship and under his guidance so are we as a club! |

We are the worst championship side I have ever seen and are league 1 certs!
This manager is out of his league and has signed a team of players who aren’t fit for purpose.

Playing one up front is the most boring negative formation known to man , again we seem to have a side without creativity but this time full of lower league players who seem out of their depth! Everyone moaned about mick settling for draws in games we should have won and hurst did exactly the same thing , I doubt we will play a worse championship side this season than Rotherham and they were there to be slapped today , instead of taking Harrison off for Jackson with half an hour to go why on earth did skuse not come off for Jackson and have two strikers and really try to win the game , Chalobah had the defensive side of midfield covered so we wouldn’t have missed skuse , Harrison was totally isolated for most of the game feeding off scraps !
We got what We deserved today for showing little ambition ! |

Job offers and be in more demand than the person who we end up replacing him with ! I can see him going to a Norwich or a Sunderland type club and with a bit of investment end up getting a side promoted whilst we continue to struggle along with no money ! |

Well have been more an inner as I struggle to see who would have done a better job with such measly resources, that said I think I would now say it’s the time
For him to leave , he seems to have swung fans opinions to much against him and doesn’t seem to be wanted by the majority of supporters , as we have nothing to play for and he is likely to go in the summer I would be inclined just to let him go now and I for one will still wish him well ! |

We have zero chance of making the play offs and zero chance of going down So the rest of this season is irrelevant therefore today was a perfect opportunity to make some money , bring some pride back to the club and give us something to play for !
