I'm struggling after that really crap. I'm guessing Norris has got a guaranteed amount of playing time in his loan deal otherwise why is he playing? Skuse was sitting so deep how did he stay on? Why did we keep hoofing the ball we've played some much better football recently. Peterborough deserved to win but we're they really tested I think not. Lambert needs to decide if he's up to the job after today! |

Great result today the 1st half was how we should play kept the ball & look for the gaps, Lincoln were chasing shadows at some points, importantly we got the goal we deserved. 2nd half was tougher Lincoln didn't sit so deep but we handled it well. A 1-0 defeat was a good result for Lincoln today on another day it would've been 3-0 halftime match over. Our bench looks good let's keep everyone fit & push on get at least a draw at Rotherham then beat Peterborough!! COYB |

People moan about Evans but we are still 4th! Yes we're not playing well but do we really want to become one of those clubs struggle for a few games then sack the manager? Evans is right to stick with Lambert sack him now we stay in this division keep him & let him try to get us up he's the only one that can do it. Are we suddenly going to kept the ball & make the opposition play at our pace or are we going to start hoofing it more & hope our strikers suddenly become better in the air & make things happen. First 30-35 mins were shocking! We did start to create for the last 10-15 mins, 2nd half we showed we were the better team with a bit of luck of a perfect pass we'd have got a goal then Gillingham would've collapsed. Their plan worked perfect frustrate & delay at all costs then try to Nick a goal. How they didn't have multiple players booked for time wasting only the ref knows especially their No.6 that slow walk or shuffle he did for every throw in was outrageous & showed how poor the ref was!!! Toto should never play again he's a defensive calamity waiting to happen looks like a CB doesn't act like one such a shame Wilson didn't start as he is quite solid at this level. Even without a shot on target I felt we should've one & will take a point & clean sheet with at Lincoln & that's good form!! |

Just over a year Lambert has been in charge & today proved that he doesn't have a preferred style of play, doesn't know what formation he wants to play. He choose to play Skuse at RB when he had Woolfenden on the pitch who in the last 2 games has shown he can beat players with the ball! All game there was 2 massive gaps on the pitch where our 2 wingers could've been causing havoc, Jackson tried to play the 2 roles ran his socks off Norwood had flashes during the game his goal being 1 of them. Really don't know where we go from here. But Lambert needs a style of play & a settled team if not we're staying in this division & waiting to change manager yet again! |
