Who said we would bounce straight back up ? 9 points behind Rotherham last season and I was not surprised , but the performance was woeful . I am not sure what plan we had . Cried out for a physical presence up top aka Norwood from the start

This was honestly a 1-0 thrashing . We could have been 3 down easily . Why should we be surprised when they finished 9 points above us last season in the Championship
If there was one game made for a physical striker - Norwood - this was it . They are a team of giants across the pitch but not the most mobile - It cried out for some flair or someone to run at them - Bish should have come on - . No wins against Top 8 teams needs to change pretty quickly . Rotherham and Wycombe play it ugly but effective .and top the division . Anyway I quite fancy a day out at Wembley in May !! |

BlueSwede - our club has been on the slide for afew years now - Yes he proved a bad appointment but we would still be scrapping around the bottom few places .
We have needed a drastic overhaul for some time and this is the opportunity

Midas - Good point about Klug
I personally think he would be great as first team coach . We all know , especially today , Managers do alot less of the actual coaching and even the signing of players at some clubs
When you look at the best managers they tend to have some a or some strong coaches
PL had a great spell at Scum with Culverhouse in Div One - since they went separate ways his record has been , err , pretty poor
I think part of our overall re think and re structure should be to look at the skills we have in the building already , especially likes of Klug U23S etc and see where they can be best used in the coaching set up

When PL came in we had 90 odd points to play for and whilst it was an uphill battle we had a chance - I am sorry - whilst I accept we lack quality - one thing I thought PL would bring would be a never say die attitude and fight TO THE END
Well I am not sure what games people have been watching but we have played for maybe 60 or 70 minutes , sometimes less but never more and never 90 plus minutes
It was summer up by me by Captain Clueless giving it it the raised arms - after you - treatment for their 2nd on saturday
I respect everyones opinion but Fight is not something we have shown enough
I am actually looking fwd to Div One - we have been sliding downward for years and with a great academy and some half decent Div One players we can consolidate next season and at least have a top half/play off to go for
If we stay up in Championship - Miracle - we would just be scraping around the bottom 3 again |

In order that we stay up Paul, which frankly,I think will help no one, you are in a must win game have 5 defenders on the pitch your are 1 nil down and instead of bringing a striker on you keep 5 at the back .then replace chalobah with skuse. You inherited a mess but presume you are drawing a decent wage with all your crew to put up a fight . Today was poor . Chambers was exposed time and again against a bang average team . You beat rotherham just and wigan . Bought us Quaner ? Judge is decent .
We have some great young players so must keep judge make him captain and start dropping the dead weight that has helped shape this mess we are in skuse and chambers . Captain ? Not worth a place in the team imo
Build for div one and i think we will be ok. But need to start making big decisions now |

Has always been our most gifted player and when he has played just runs at players something we have not had from one of our own for many years !
He must have had some really tough times over past few years so not only physically but mentally this is huge for him and us and so pleased to see
Now if we can keep Judge ? and Lankaster , Downes , Nydam , Morris , Dozzell , Noland , Edwards pl, Ward plus If Huws can get and stay fit ? we have alot of strong midfielders in there for Div One

I think more than anything for the first time in years we have a coaching team who look at a style and formation of playing . Yes it was one game and we drew BUT so many positives we should take tonight from a top side who have some big ticket names. We played players in their right positions but did it on the front foot. We have been starved of entertainment for years and with the younger players plus some of the experience - sign up Judge - Div 1 - which i think is likely - should and could be a great chance to build . Good atmosphere as well . Sometimes u need to go back go progress long term . Look at the prem and top half kf the championship . Alot of Div one clubs from past 10 years |

Great shape and balance to this side . At the back we looked solid. Loved that Bish Dozzell Downes got time out there . We will need them next season . I hope Judge can stay as he has x factor . Spot on we will bounce back - I take heart in Leicester Brighton Southampton Huddersfield Bournemouth and Wolves - all been Div One in last 10 years - Then of course our nearest and dearest neighbours , Sheff U , Leeds have all been down there and improved . So that is my positive word !! |

Judge was brilliant - hey I like Judge , and think we are lucky to have him but brilliant ? Whilst this PR - everything is half full approach I admire I think we - as fans - can see honest endeavour and effort - which is least we expect - but brilliance ? If he had buried the chance he had in the bottom corner and we went on to win then yes 'brilliant'
I think we just need to build for Div One - play the committed and young players who will be here next season and tonight do not let Nugent near the ball , or Waghorn , or Marriott , or Wilson - Lets just play on the front foot and start with the Bish |
