Players got leggy n dropped back about 65mins. JET was on top form until then, after it was obvious he needed to come off, he was barely walking around the pitch.
From 65 we weren't stopping crosses, tackling or even moving for each other. Thats either shocking tactics, poor fitness or both.
Paul still doesn't know how to play 1 up front effectively.
Wrong substitutions at the wrong times. Jewell has to go.
As for Loach, yeah shocking on 2 accounts but if the team had dealt with things before then there wouldn't have been anything to deal with.

After the radio comments I feel the need to stand up for Tommy Smith. Yeas he has made a few mistakes but think back to Titus Bramble, he was far worse but we stuck with him n look what he did in his 1st season in the Prem.
Yes bad scoreline, wasn't expecting any points though.
In a way its a blessing, its a reality check to Evans Clegg and Paul, we need 3-4 players in, specific positions with specific attributes.
Jet needs to be benched, you cannot afford to carry him for 89min a game. He's capable of magic but thats at the expense of being a man down for the rest of the game, it's just not worth it. Use him as a last roll of the dice in a game when we need to gamble by all means.
In all games this season we haven't been direct enough either, we can pass the ball well but we don't seem to make the runs past the defence or make the passes to get round the back either.
Despite this loss and all the negatives above we got more going for us than most teams in this division still, just need to sort the above out n we could make a challenge on the top 6 for 1st time in far too long |

I sat in front of the Blackburn fans in the second half, was non stop digs at Kean.

loads of possession, looked comfortable.
Lack of height an physical presence are an issue when defending corners and set plays.
Also we should make the most of our youthful speed and acceleration by playing passes in front of players in attacking areas instead of to feet with backs to goal. Was crying out for balls being played down the wing behind their defenders and crossed LOW for all of the second half.
Couple of larger more physical players and we could well do something this season
Blackburn look like a team destined for a double drop on that performance. Poor team.
Cant grumble too much though, were were very comfortable, only danger seemed to be coming from set plays (as usual)
