Next week could see the oldest club in the world exit the football league. Notts County are likely to drop out of the league next week ending over 130 years in the league. Whatever troubles we are going through we need to remember that all clubs go through troubles many worse than that what we have endured. I am a glass half full guy and remember Man City's plight in League 1 and their luck in the play off final. I will be hopeful for Mike Halsey's stop watch next year!
We need a phoenix to rise from the flames. With the Tories in disarray and the opposition only interested in bringing the Government down we need a group of politicians who genuinely scrunitise the options and suggest meaningful and realistic amendments. Unfortunately all we get is waffle and empty prophecies that they can do a better job without any actual policies that will be accepted. Unfortunately the last time a group of politicians decided to compromise they decimated their core vote. As for Tony Blair's view of a new party - it isnt working that well in France!
Just watching Graham Norton on HD and I no longer fancy Nicole Kidman. All that botox and facelifts make her look hideous - not the same vision I had watching certain scenes in Eyes Wide Shut!
Drinan has just scored his first goal for Sutton in the dying seconds of the game which was the winner. Sutton progress to the 1st Round of the FA Cup and now he has broke the duck will get more especially as he will more game time now Sutton have let Lafayette join Billericay.
Drinan makes the staring 11 against Orient today. This is going to be challenging for him and a good test. He is beginning to get some confidence but needs to get on the scoresheet to give him a real boost.
Aaron played his 3rd game for Sutton today coming on again towards the end of the 2nd half. He is beginning to settle in well having been a bit shaky in the first 2 games. He gelled well with Josh Taylor and hopefully will get more time on the pitch to show his promise - he showed maturity at the end keeping the ball in the corner rather than than going for glory with Sutton being 2-1 up against the big spending Salford. Looking forward to the rest of the season
