So encouraged by Moore and Al-Hamadi that hopefully we can tick away week after week of Hirst's recovery then he can come in for some additional firepower for the run-in.
Mind you I don't think fans were totally enamoured by him and it may give Leicester the opportunity to bring in the Italian guy who cost over £20M at one stage.
We've picked up results against Bristol City and Plymouth, arguably both had an element of fortune. Followed by the draws with Birmingham and Rotherham, again both way off it.
Swansea will be very interesting. At home against a team that will look to play. That should suit us down to the ground. If we're sluggish and struggle to create again, then I will just have a sliver on concern about where this season is heading.
Don't want to be overly negative and hope that when we have Wes back, the usual balance will be restored; but the underperformance has just started to move from an aberration to a streak.
Expect we'll probably have our sights set on higher targets but arguably left sided defenders could be on the shopping list. Can play LB or LCB, quite physical and still 29.
In case Greg Leigh decides he doesn't want to play second fiddle and we need a cheap alternative then maybe this would be the only reason Fox comes here.
While I'd prefer to play Davis as much as possible because of his obvious attributes, all things considered I think we'll see Leigh. Wycombe's physicality, Davis only having one training session under his belt, and that little extra time to prepare for Cheltenham could sway it towards GL.
Happy with either tbh and wouldn't be surprised to see Leif!
No clubs named. Seems an obvious story to run given our defensive form but Pete O' Rourke is probably one of the more credible journalists in the Transfer space.
