Changes for tonight....
at 08:21 4 Mar 2015

GK - Nothing really to gain from changing this one, so Bart to stay.
RB - Surely Parr will come back tonight. For me we still miss a specialist RB in the squad.
CB - Chambers our captain our leader must play in his right position.
CB - Berra. Our best defender.
LB - Mings has dipped in form but he's still young and improving, can offer so much.
LCM - Bru, I'm going with 433 tonight so Bru makes the team. Interesting that Benyu @17yo is close. Is he a real real talent or just technically better that we have which wouldn't be that hard.
CM - Skuse seems to be a first pick for MM for me that can only be because we don't have anyone else better in this role. He has played well but a little inconsistent of late.
RCM - Bishop is our best football player in midfield. Needs more game time for me to flourish.
STR - Murphy
STR - Sears
STR - Wood is my pick if we change to 433 tonight, I'd suspect mick may pick Reg thou!!

If we play 442 I'd bring in Connelly or Stewart. We need pace injected into the side and the time could be right for one of these lads to break thru. Excited about Benyu as well. Doesn't seem a typical MM player does he as MM bigs the guy up yesterday ! (A change in direction)
Leeds 1-0 up! good start (n/t)

Good player possibly for someone there. A mate at work who's Watford seems to suggest he didn't seem a "team player" but not sure how much you can read into that. There have been a lot of changes there and maybe he just needs to be "loved by someone"!
Interesting team selection from Pardew.

Zaha, gayle, Murray.
No Williams on the Bench. Believe he is fit unless someone knows better. With strikers/forward thinking players expected to sign in Jan Id be surprised if jonny has a future at Palace now.

My point being he clearly is using the game to give fringe players a chance to push for a first team spot.

With all these free-kicks were about to win in and around the box I wonder if MM team selection may take this into account. (More regarding the taker) we seem to lack in this area with Anderson perhaps the best but suspect he may not even be in the first 11 atm. With the threat we pose I think this is an area we fall short atm.
Williams not even on the bench... Just saying..

Love to see a front 3 like today of Williams, dids, murph
Team for November..

Long way off but just for fun here is the team that I think could progress us on from last seasons 9th place!

GK - Bart - probably the toughest choice I made as Gerks has been in fine form but I don't feel 100% in safe hands excusing the pun so have opted for the unknown here.

LB - Mings - has been in fine form and can only get better. Great find by Mick consider on the guy was only playing non league football.

RCB - Chambers - our captain and leader. Finally playing in his best position. Nothing to add.

LCB - Berra - whilst this spot could have been easily taken by tommy you could argue that Berra is probably the best CB in this league so he picks himself.

RB - Parr - had hoped this spot would have been Elliott's but seems a little out of favour. Parr looks are really solid bet a RB in this league and with a goal threat it seems.

LM - Ambrose - whilst Tabb currently occupies this spot and has made a steady start to the season I don't see him as someone who is going to push us on from last season. I've gone with Ambrose who can play a central role so would ideally suit a narrow left midfield position which Mick seems to like. He offers a real goal threat and could take over the attacking free kick role which seems to be a non starter atm with Tabb taking the last wasted effort on goal Tuesday!

CM - Bishop - what a breath of fresh air. Just when the CM positions looked helpless we un-earth a real gem. The difference he has made in such a short space of time shows what we were all crying out for was actually really needed.

CM - Collison - a fit JC (doubt) would get into most teams in this division and with Teddy would add a totally new look to our midfield which was so ordinary last season. Whilst I toyed with putting Hyam I've gone with a team that could take us to the next level.

RM - Stewart - second toughest decision choosing Stewart over Anderson. I've purely gone on potential here as we haven't seen enough of him to make judgement. But he was seen as a major signing early in the summer so Mick must have seen something there to make us stronger than last season otherwise why would he have signed him? On that basis he gets the RM spot.

ST - Murphy - I have had my reservations in the past but seems nailed on as a starter and could easily score 15 this season for us.

ST - Dids
Could see Mick doing a Pulis and walking
