They will very much be out of the play off picture when we play them I’d have thought. Plus we play are their 4th game in 10 days regardless of other results they have. I’ve marked this one down as 3pts for us.
Hopefully the answer to this question will soon be 1. Hull city - can not longer make play-offs 2. Coventry - hung over from semi final FA cup defeat and no longer possible to make to playoffs after 3 league games in a week to end with a 4th against Ipswich Town. 3 Huddersfield - relegated and already wearing the sunglasses
I’d agree would be a huge risk. I would imagine he wouldn’t come cheap either despite the risk associated with him. That said, I would back KMc to get a tune out of him and the environment at here would do him the world of good if he’s open to seriously getting back to a higher level.
Do hope it’s this.. with Hirst back on the grass I do hope he’s back sooner rather than later especially if Moores injury is serious. Ali a threat but we need a bench option whoever that may be..
They don’t seem to like that we score in injury time, considering it lucky. I remember people use to say that against Man U under Ferguson…. That went well.. simply we are a fit side who sticks together and will run and run all day for the cause. No coincidence to me that we score a lot of late goals.
I was sitting down there and after the first goal some drink/bottle was thrown. Various other smaller objects during the game although not a justification, but a couple of idiots were taunting them with offensive gestures was probably the cause.
Whilst it’s fine to speculate as fans I think if we give everything we have we will take who ever finishes 2nd close. Personally from what I’ve seen if Leicester I’d expect them to get the job done. Leeds have a premiership squad arguably and would expect the pressure weigh heavily on them come the final few fixtures if we can get through what looks a tough April. The players and staff thou have a winning formula of taking it one game at a time. Exciting end to the season non the less.
Correct and this is why so many were calling for him to start. Because without a focal point we lack any direction. A learning lesson from our young manager this afternoon. We did thou gift a few goals with one of them offside unfortunately for us.
Yer fair.. In the context as him as a no9 recently, he’s probably lacking somewhat and clearly with two new additions the management feel similar. I’ve liked him as cover for Burns earlier in the season but he’s played admirably well as a makeshift number 9. Hopefully his pace can cause some issues this afternoon.
I don’t think that has anything to do with it. I think people see his qualities and equally his weaknesses, particularly as a no 9 focal point which he clearly isn’t.
People having different opinions is what it’s all about. Could have gone either way tbf. The purest in me wanted Moore to start. Jackson will be no where near the no9 spot again soon and wveryone knows it. He’s covered it admirably though in the absence of H.
Trolling with this surely. 3 centre mids and one of them is out injured so this can’t be right.. Plus Broady up top after Maidstone? I could stretch to Jackson playing maybe but considering we just signed a prem striker and the hottest young talent outside the top two divisions I’d be surprised to see this team.
