I was a student for the first 4 years of her reign, then a normal working bloke for the rest, and I did all right. Maybe because I got off my ar*e and worked hard, was able to buy a house, got out what I put in, her policies may or may not have made things easier for me but I enjoyed the 80's under her. She made me feel proud to be British and she stood for law and order, stood up to the Argies, told the Irish hunger strikers to f**k off, didn't give in to strikers, all things I wanted our leader to do. IMO, the country has never been economically or politically as strong again since she left. She was our last truly globally respected leader. Can't wait to see how many minuses I get for holding this viewpoint.

Seems like a decent player and I hope he has nothing to answer for. But would all Town players please try and avoid situations where they might get drawn into controversy. You're only a footballer for ten years or so, is it so hard to stay out of trouble while you earn your 10k a week? |
