Seems to be doing very well for the U23's and U18's at the moment, be interested to know what he's like as a player from those who watch the academy regularly, is he the lad we signed from Gray's last season? |

Dropped another clanger in the Forest Newcastle game tonight, any chance that might help our appeal case? |
| Forum Thread | Boro potentially have a lot of money to play with at 18:13 3 Aug 2018
Sold Bamford for £7M to Leeds Gibson apparently heading to Burnley for £15M Traore going to Wolves for £18M Would seem if anyone is going to come in for Waghorn it would be them, they could certainly blow Sheff Utd out the water and surely Derby must be slightly concerned about FFP. I wonder if we could get slightly more than the £8M we apparently want. |
| Forum Thread | Is Ward suspended for the Blackburn game? at 18:23 30 Jul 2018
Trying to work out if Ward will miss the first game of the season, got a straight red against Villa with 2 games to go so does the final game carry over into this season? Seem to remember Berra being suspended for the start of the 15/16 season after the playoffs, if anyone knows how the rules work would be great to know. |
| Forum Thread | Jack Ross on BT Sport 1 tonight at 17:44 11 May 2018
Apparently Jack Ross will be on BT Sport at 19:15 according to this video, no doubt he'll be asked about Ipswich. They briefly talk about the link at 7:40 in the video, unfortunately it's Chris Sutton doing the talking.

By the looks of this list, Waghorn is the first and potentially only player in the Championship to have got at least 10 goals and 10 assists this season. http://www.espnfc.com/english-league-championship/24/statistics/scorers Just highlights what an incredible signing he's been for us, even when he hasn't been involved in the goals he's worked tirelessly. Arguably he deserved player of the season despite Bart's performances. |
| Forum Thread | Ipswich and Norwich's form before derbies at 17:51 10 Feb 2018
So after today's dire performance and Norwich's decent result away at Derby it got me thinking that we always seem to be struggling as a team going into derbies. So I had a look into both ours and Norwich's pre-derby form since we last beat them and compiled this together: 28th Nov 2010 (4-1 Norwich) Ipswich Form-LLL Norwich Form-DDD 21st April 2011 (1-5 Norwich) Ipswich Form-WDW Norwich Form-LDW 23rd August 2014 (0-1 Norwich) Ipswich Form-LLD Norwich Form-LWW 1st March 2015 (2-0 Norwich) Ipswich Form-WLW Norwich Form-WWW Playoffs Ipswich Form-DWL Norwich Form-LDW 21st August 2016 (1-1) Ipswich Form-LLD Norwich Form-WDW 26th February 2017 (1-1) Ipswich Form-WDD Norwich Form-WDL 22nd October 2017 (0-1 Norwich) Ipswich Form-WLL Norwich Form-WWD 18th February 2018 ? Ipswich Form-LWD Norwich Form-WWD Main points to come from this: Ipswich have only won the game before a derby twice since last beating Norwich (proceeded to lose both derbies) MM has only won the game before a derby once Norwich have won the game before a derby on five occasions, losing once Norwich have never lost 2 of the 3 games leading up to a derby, Ipswich have on four occasions Norwich have had the “better” form on 6 occasions, Ipswich have twice I know this doesn’t take into account opponents or score lines but thought it was interesting as it does always seem to feel that Norwich are going into derbies full of momentum and we’re struggling slightly and I guess this data proves it somewhat. Don't know if anyone else has a different interpretation of it however it doesn't make good reading for next Sunday, but life's full of surprises I guess. |

Should these transfers go through and Bart and McG leave, we'll only have 3 what you'd call starting XI players of the 14/15 season, Smith, Chambers and Skuse (excluding Bishop). Just feels like a cycle has been completed with MM and a breath of fresh air is needed in the summer to galvanise the club out of this slumber, hopefully incorporating some of these promising youth players we have coming through with a different style of play. Could be the beginning of something exciting or daunting, you can make your own minds up on that. |
