Importance of Sunday

This has got to be a must win game for both sides and although I hate to admit it, the odds are in favour of the yellow and green brigade. I don't say this because of their record in recent years, I say it because just when we needed that nice man Warnock and his team to stuff them rigid they let us down. Imagine how we would be buoyed up if a few days before taking Norwich on, we went away to a team in the league above and won 3 - 1. Norwich have struggled so far as we have but they have not overhauled their squad in the summer. They have players who have played in this Derby before, OK so have we but they have more that have experienced it than us. I have read how our new players are looking forward to the Derby and understand the importance but do they? Most of our new players have only experienced "big games" in lower leagues with lesser attendances. What is needed is some of our old warhorses like The Beat, Warky, Butch and Millsey to ram home the importance of Sunday. If our players are fired up properly anything is possible. A new hero is there to be born, they need the right rallying call and to leave absolutely nothing out there. as they say these days. If this doesn't happen that lot up the A140 will not let us forget it. Another reason to win is that the following day I am off to Norfolk for four days and I want to walk around with a huge smile on my face. Come on you Blues, lets really start our season off.
