| News Comment | McCarthy: Ando Different Class at 09:32:58
a lot of very harsh comments on here. It does make me wonder if a lot of you actually go to see us play. Batty - he has chipped in with a couple of goals this season (albeit the one against Millwall went in off a defender after his touch). His free-kick delivery in the same game for Tommy's goal was excellent. On Saturday, within the first five minutes, he had already put McG in on goal and provided two excellent corners which we were unlucky not to score from. You could have seen that from the highlights. It is also worth pointing out, as dirtyboy has, that Ando has been a little hard done by in the sense that if he were playing down the left, with Cressy bombing forward, he would appear as much of a threat, if not more, than Tunnicliffe. The fact is he's been playing down the same side as an young inexperienced right back (Hewitt) and Chambo, who isn't a right-back by trade. This means that he has to do an awful lot more work tracking back to help out. On the left, Cressy doesn't need as much defensive support and his attacking intent means whoever is on the left, Tunners or Tabb, sees more of the ball in the final third. Cut the lad some slack. |
| Blog Comment | Yet More Town Tinkering By Mick the Man Still Required at 21:19:33
Good blog, agree with your thoughts apart from not wanting Mick. I felt that he was the ideal replacement for Jewell who, as we've heard, was far too soft. Mick takes no prisoners and I feel has done little wrong so far. |

Bill, I agree with your point. I should probably put emphasis on the word 'capability'. He's by no means the finished article but the fact that Mick put him in ahead of Drury suggests to me he realises he might have a good player on his hands. |
| News Comment | Jakupović Linked With Hull Return at 10:48:15
I agree with previous posts RE: Smithies. Looked a bit of a liability, Huddersfield probably wouldn't sell anyway. I'd be happy with Williams, Heaton or Loach. Don't think we'd get more than one of them though; I imagine they're all looking to be number ones. Interesting though that Hull are signing both Jakupovic and Amos. Presumably Amos will be the number two considering it's only a loan deal. |

Greybritain - I agree with you on Peters. He deserves better than the way he's been cast out. We could've done a lot worse than have brought him into the side when we weren't doing so well last campaign; the seven game losing streak would've been an ideal time to have given him an opportunity. One of the only highlights of Keane's stint was that he recognised Jaime had talent. |

Enlaw- allegedly Kourouma is central midfield. Think I've read somewhere he's meant to be 'box to box'. |
| News Comment | Chambers at Club as Kourouma Set to Sign at 11:29:58
I agree with Arnie; I can't believe how their player of the season from two years ago is now suddenly one of their worst players. I imagine they're a bit disheartened that their club captain wants out. Hopefully a centre back partnership of Smith and Chambers for the new season. |
