Thu 26th Nov 2009 15:39

Carlisle boss Greg Abbott has confirmed that Ian Harte will not be joining the Blues, according to sources in Cumbria.

Yesterday, news broke of Town’s move to sign former Ireland international Harte on loan with the League One side confirming that an enquiry had been made for an unnamed player.

Wait and see the flood gates open on this story! Is it because he Irish and Old that he's linked with town. The clue is in the FORMER Ireland International and Div 1.

Maybe we just floated the idea. We should build some bridges with Carlisle.

We missed the boat with him before the season had started!
Now, we can not even be a draw to a player from the lower leagues!
Apart from Leadbitter who is ok, all that Keano has signed have been pants!
I think it is not new players that we need but a decent assistant to the manager as we he obviously needs some help, support and guidance. Someone like Paul Hart.....but then again could anyone work with RK???
