ITFC Sweden, the Swedish branch of the Supporters Club, has produced a promotional film in order to recruit more members ahead of their annual group trip to Portman Road in February.
Niklas Nygårds from ITFC-Sweden, which has around 150 members, told TWTD: “We wanted to do something to get our members to sign up for the members trip in February for the Middlesbrough and QPR games. The cut-off date to sign up is on Friday 18th December, so we wanted to do something that stands out.
”One of our members, Anders Carlsson, has made the video from short movies and pictures that the Swedish Supporters Club has provided. He works for SVT Sport (the Swedish BBC Sports) so he's in the business, so to speak.
“There were 40 of us in April for last season's members trip, so hoping for something similar this season.”
The Middlesbrough home game on February 6th has been designated the inaugural Town Supporters Club Theme Day with fans from branches from all over the world set to attend.
