I met Bobby at Barcelona airport, dropping his boys off a couple of days before leading Barcelona to the Cup Winners Cup. He was happy to chat about our play-off chances that year inspite of having more important things on his mind. The world is a worse place without him.

One of our accountants and her all female golfing group met him one year at the gala golf dinner he hosted in Portugal, she by chance is a gerodie. The next year they were all there at the dinner and as soon as he arrived he made a beline for them. He had spoken to them for 5 minutes the previuse year and he remembered all thier names. After the formalities he danced and charmed the lot of them. Not one is a football fan, but have this wonderful memory of a true gentleman that they held very dear.
