Bru was impressive. Hunty had a great game. Our back four cleared the ball (instead of playing it out of trouble) which is always good to see. Quite a good team performance against a tough team.

The score line did not reflect our superiority. A committed effort from all Town's players shows that MM's methods work. The 'Team' ethic showed after we scored when all the substitutes were there to congratulate Tommy for his goal. After a performance like this, there is no team in this division that we should be scared of. Our discipline was excellent in the face of some dubious tactics from the visitors.

Great match...Stephen Hunt and Kevin Bru were outstanding I thought! Jonny Williams picked on, should have been a red card for Ekstrand. Bartosz Bialkowski to keep his place in goal!

Just settled into my Ipswich hotel after a few post match beers. A day which will live for some time in my memory primarily due to the atmosphere both before, during and after the game. I have not heard the North in voice like that for many a year, I no longer live in the town or close by, but after the game there was a real buzz Today saw a professional performance with not a little passion in the second half particularly.

Watford clearly came to spoil, a physical side who obviously had a plan to kick Johnnie Williams off the pitch, ultimately it worked. An end to end first half saw Murphy almost break the net with a superb first time effort. There was not a lot else of note until the second half despite town probing constantly and Watford looking dangerous on the counter, man of the match Luke Chambers making at least three excellent tackles/interventions

Bialowski looked assured and did spread well early to win a one on one. The second half burst into life after the minutes applause for Kempy and as the crowd urged pTown forward almost sucking the ball into the SBR net after multiple corners and free kicks

A great 3 points and superb support

Excellent result and a true team performance in the face of a defensive counter attacking side with some decidedly physical challenges.
Never been a fan of Jay Tabb but the last couple of games he has been excellent and didn't disappoint again, the back four looked solid along with Bart and Hunt gave his normal energiser bunny performance.
Williams was always probing and Watford picked on him for their most agricultural challenges, Bishop slotted into his role well when he went off.
Both Murphy and McGoldrick were industrious but credit to Watford as they kept them quieter than in many games.
I am more impressed with Bru every time I see him, he does the hard work but has an eye for a pass and is always looking to get forward. He could be another of those rough diamonds that MM seems to be able to find.
Another game full of positives and it's just unfortunate the international break gets in the way again!
