It's never a bad thing and whilst it wasn't pretty, when has going to Stoke ever been?
We clearly need a replacement for Hirst but all is far from lost. The way some fans are going on you'd think we have a given right to go to what has been one of the hardest Championship grounds to win at and roll them over.

Another point in the bag and work to do on and off the pitch.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

2 points lost imo. Stoke have been poor for 5 years and they were awful today.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

Different proposition under Schumacher though.

What based on 10 days and a dross performance today?

Micky Stockwell and Alan Lee disagree with you.

Two points dropped for sure, but Southampton also did it, so in the grand scheme of things, it didn't matter.

Taking today in isolation, it doesn't matter. Taking the season as a whole, this was an opportunity to gain two point on them considering we were against ten men, and didn't do so.

Yes, of course I agree with that. But I think given the circumstances we've been in with illnesses and injuries and a ridiculous set of fixtures in a short space of time - I think it's fine.
