Williams Withdraws - Ipswich Town News
Town midfielder Gavin Williams has returned to Portman Road for a scan after withdrawing from the Wales squad facing Bulgaria in a friendly on Tuesday night. Striker Alan Lee pulled out of the Republic of Ireland squad with a hip injury over the weekend.
Lewis Price is now the only Town player away on international duty. The keeper is in the Wales U21 squad facing Israel in Holland on Wednesday night.
No Town player is involved in Tuesday's Portman Road England U21 international against Moldova (KO 8pm, Sky Sports Two). Former Blue Darren Ambrose is in the squad, while Darren Bent was moved into the full party playing Greece at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
