Noble: Easy Decision - Ipswich Town News
New Town loanee Mark Noble says it was easy to make up his mind whether or not to join the Blues, despite the club having made their worst start to the season since 1956/57. Noble will make his debut on Saturday, against a Hull City side with whom he spent time on loan with last season.
The midfielder told the club site: "I know Ipswich have not had a good start but I don't read anything into the first few games of the season.
"I heard the team played well against Crystal Palace last week and were unlucky not to get anything from that match and the Wolves game.
"The fact that Ipswich are down at the bottom at the moment doesn't worry me at all. With the size of the club, the support it enjoys and the quality of players here, I expect Ipswich to start moving up the table.
"I had a few clubs that were said to be interested in me but coming to Ipswich was an easy decision to make and I can't wait to get going."
Noble has been handed the number 20 shirt. The Blues are seeking permission to play the England U19 international in next week's Carling Cup first round tie at Peterborough United.
