Bulgarian on Trial? - Ipswich Town News
The Blues are to take Bulgarian international defender Ivaylo Petkov on trial, according to reports in Scotland. The 30-year-old has just left Celtic after an unsuccessful trial with the Bhoys.
Petkov, who has 64 full caps, seems an unlikely Town target given that he's primarily a left-back. The former Fenerbahçe player was released by another Turkish side Ankaragücü at the end of last season.
Petkov has also been linked with Galatasaray, Hertha Berlin and Willem II.
