Petkov Back to Turkey - Ipswich Town News

Town trialist Ivaylo Petkov will not be returning to Portman Road for a further spell after agreeing to spend another year in Turkey. The 30-year-old Bulgarian international was released by Turkish club Ankaragücü at the end of last season.

Chief scout Steve McCall told the club site: "I've just taken a call this morning from the player's representatives saying that he has been offered another year in Turkey and has decided to take it up."
