No Parkin Move Yet - Ipswich Town News
Striker Sam Parkin has spoken to Preston and Luton but has not yet decided where his future lies. The two clubs are understood to have had bids of £300,000 - plus top-ups which reportedly could take the fee above £500,000 - accepted by the Blues, but another side, believed to be Coventry, are also said to be in the running.
The Sky Blues first showed an interest in the frontman earlier in the month and, despite Micky Adams claiming the deal was dead, further moves on that front have always been expected.
Parkin, who cost Town £450,000 from Swindon a year ago, is not expected to be in the Blues squad for Saturday's home game with Hull City.
