Williams Out - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Gavin Williams is out of Tuesday's Carling Cup tie at Peterborough United, Town's 150th match in the competition. The former West Ham man injured his toe in the goalless draw with Hull City on Saturday.
Boss Jim Magilton told the club site: "Gavin didn't feel the injury until he took his boot off, then his toe opened right up.
"It's painful and he's out for Peterborough, but I'm confident he will be fine for Friday."
Town take on QPR in their first Sky game of the season at Loftus Road on Friday evening.
