Aussie Coach in Talks? - Ipswich Town News
Reports in Australia claim the Blues have been in talks with League Two club Bury's fitness and enhancement coach Jim Petruzzi. The Australian worked with Angola at this summer's World Cup.
A move for Petruzzi would be a big surprise with current fitness coach Simon Thadani's position having been re-confirmed after Jim Magilton took over as manager in the summer.
Petruzzi has previously worked in Italy, Romania and America, as well as with West Ham, QPR and Crystal Palace. A product of the Australian Institute of Sport, Petruzzi is also reported to have spoken to a number of national sides.
