Richards Not Put Off - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Matt Richards says he will still volunteer to take penalties despite missing two already this season. The 21-year-old had one saved at Wolves and another stopped in the shoot-out with Peterborough on Tuesday.
Richards said: "I will always put my hand up to take them. This will not put me off.
"On both occasions the keeper guessed the right way - and full marks to them both. The penalties were saved rather than missed and I'm looking forward to my next opportunity to take one."
