Price in U21 Squad - Ipswich Town News

Keeper Lewis Price has been named in the Wales U21 squad for a European Championship qualifier against Turkey in Cardiff on September 2nd.

Price has won two senior caps but dropped to the U21s when he lost his place to Shane Supple last season. The 21-year-old will hope that regaining his position in Town's first team will see him elevated back into the full squad before too much longer.

The call-up means that Price will miss Richard Naylor's testimonial on September 2nd. Jaime Peters will also be missing having been called into Canada's U20 squad for friendlies against Belgium on September 2nd and 4th.

Wales U21s: Lewis Price (Ipswich Town), Ashley Morris (Merthyr Tydfil), Gareth Bale (Southampton), Kyle Critchell (Southampton), Lloyd James (Southampton), Adam Davies (Cambridge United), Neal Eardley (Oldham Athletic), Joe Jacobson (Cardiff City), Simon Spender (Wrexham), Mike Williams (Wrexham), Craig Morgan (MK Dons), Arron Davies (Yeovil Town), Matthew Collins (Fulham), David Edwards (Shrewsbury Town), Mark Jones (Wrexham), Shaun MacDonald (Swansea City), Jamal Easter (Cardiff City), David Cotterill (Bristol City).
