Jim Confirms Forster Bid - Ipswich Town News
Town manager Jim Magilton has confirmed yesterday's reports of a £200,000 bid for Nicky Forster from Hull City. Forster himself says he is in the dark regarding the proposed move.
The striker said last night: "All I know is what people are telling me but I would hope for some clarification in the morning.
"If the manager does not come to me and update me, I will go to him and try to find out what is happening."
Town are reported to be willing to allow the frontman to leave for a fee at the level offered, the ex-England U21 international having spent significant spells out injured since signing just over a year ago and with only the rest of this season left on his contract.
The Blues are looking to sign Coventry's Dele Adebola before the transfer window closes on Thursday and success on that front could have some bearing on whether Forster is allowed to leave.
