Bowden: More Additions - Ipswich Town News
Chief executive Derek Bowden expects boss Jim Magilton to make more new signings outside the transfer window. The Town manager is currently looking at out-of-contract trialists Bob Malcolm, Joey Van Den Berg, Njazi Kuqi and Phil Mulryne.
Bowden said: "Within the regulations that now exist, the manager has the finance to bolster his squad in the days and weeks ahead. This can be with full signings for players not under contract elsewhere and for 93-day loans from this Friday."
Another player currently unattached and who may come into Magilton's plans is former Norwich striker Chris Sutton. The ex-Celtic man has not yet found a club after leaving Birmingham at the end of last season, despite links with the Blues and with former boss Martin O'Neill's new club Aston Villa.
