Ireland Cap for Youngster - Ipswich Town News
Academy schoolboy Paul Murphy won a Republic of Ireland U16 cap in a 0-0 friendly in Croatia on Tuesday. Murphy, a striker, was introduced as a sub in the 41st minute.
The Town youngster hit the bar, albeit while in an offside position, and also won a penalty which was squandered by Aston Villa's Mark Power.
Ireland and Croatia meet again on Thursday in another friendly.
