Still No Bent Cash - Ipswich Town News
Town are still waiting on the cash from Darren Bent's first competitive international appearance. The striker was again left on the bench by Steve McLaren as his England side defeated Macedonia 1-0 in Skopje.
The Blues are due £200,000 for each of Bent's first two competitive matches as part of the deal which saw the striker join Charlton a year ago.
Town will now hope that Bent, who has been capped twice in friendlies, finally makes his competitive bow when England take on Macedonia in the return game at Old Trafford on Saturday, October 7th.
