Robson on Mend - Ipswich Town News
Town president Sir Bobby Robson says he is on the mend after the recent surgery to remove a brain tumour. The former England manager expects to be in hospital in the North-East for at least another fortnight.
Robson said: "I'm making progress and recuperating well. The chances are I will need to be in hospital for another two to three weeks, but that is up to the specialist looking after me to decide.
"I'm on the mend. Every day is a better day and I'm getting more movement."
Robson was taken ill at Town's home game with Crystal Palace, subsequent tests revealing the tumour.
