Williams Should Be Fit - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Gavin Williams should be fit for Saturday's home game with Sunderland despite suffering from groin and hip problems of late. Williams is the most fouled player in the Championship this season having won 22 freekicks.
Head of sports science Dave Williams told the club site: "Gavin has been able to play games but he's not trained fully at times and it's a case of managing his recovery at the moment.
"He's got a bit of muscle inflammation and it was sore during the Birmingham game, but that was his third match in a week.
"With rest and no midweek game this week, we're hoping it will settle down and he'll be OK for the Sunderland match."
