Price in Wales Squad - Ipswich Town News
Keeper Lewis Price has been recalled to the full Wales squad for their home Euro 2008 qualifying games against Slovakia on Saturday, 7th October and Cyprus four days later.
Price has previously won two senior caps but, after losing his place in the Town side, had dropped back into the Welsh U21s in recent months.
Midfielder Gavin Williams is not included in the squad with the Blues likely to have asked for him to be rested due to the back injury which has led to persistent groin and hamstring problems this season.
Wales: Paul Jones (QPR), Jason Brown (Blackburn), Lewis Price (Ipswich), Gareth Bale (Southampton), James Collins (West Ham), Danny Gabbidon (West Ham), Richard Duffy (Portsmouth), Rob Edwards (Wolves), Lewin Nyatanga (Derby), Robert Page (Coventry), Ryan Valentine (Wrexham), Mark Jones (Wrexham), Andrew Crofts (Gillingham), Simon Davies (Everton), Carl Fletcher (Crystal Palace), Jason Koumas (West Brom), Carl Robinson (Norwich), Joe Ledley (Cardiff), David Vaughan (Crewe), Paul Parry (Cardiff), Craig Bellamy (Liverpool), David Cotterill (Wigan), Rob Earnshaw (Norwich), Ryan Giggs (Man Utd).
