Town Fan at Ross County - Ipswich Town News

Town fan and TWTD reader Chris MacLeod is spending time with Scottish First Division side Ross County as he prepares for his UEFA B coaching course. Chris is currently coach of Beacon Hill Rovers youth team near Witham, who play in the Essex and Suffolk Border League Premier Division.

During his week with the Dingwall-based club, Chris is attending both first team and academy training sessions. Working closely with first team manager Scott Leach, Chris will assist and take notes on the training sessions.

Ross County modelled their academy on Town's youth set-up making several fact-finding visits to Playford Road in 2002 and 2003.

In addition to Ross County, Chris has also been approached by Peterborough United, Swindon Town and Yeovil Town regarding full-time academy coaching.

The 20-year-old from Witham, Essex is also studying for a Sports Management Diploma and Sports Nutrition course.
